I created my very first website, called Crunchy Cookies, when I was 11. I learned how to code HTML and CSS from a library book and made index cards so I could remember common code like bold or paragraph breaks. I also used Lissa Explains It All, an HTML site for kids, and put my skills to use designing my Neopets profile and pet sites.
Around the same time, I discovered The Doll Palace and shortly moved on to creating my own dolls in MS Paint using bases from other doll sites. I created a new site under the name Je Suis Katrina. During this time, I was an active member of several dolling forums and communities from 2003-2007ish, including Eden Enchanted, and on deviantART doing dolls and photomanipulation art (early Photoshop).
Once I went to college, I started focusing more on writing and fanfiction, but with the resurgence of the Old Web, I decided it was time to bring my doll site back under a new, appropriate name: Resurrected Dolls. I've been able to find many of my favorite doll sites on the Wayback Machine - and there are tons of new pixel and doll artists out there. I'm excited to get back into it and create some new art and enter a contest or two.
